The team worked hard on this stage – as Leon is starting to feel better and Fuyu wants to sprint a field sprint – the interests of our team and the Tabriz boys from Iran seem to get close to each other in these flat stages. Together it was possible to reel a strong break back in.
Unfortunately Leon couldn’t do it after 1000 altitude meters (from 2300 towards 3300!!) and Fuyu got boxed in – next time better…
