The Marco Polo Cycling Team has another rider with Protour experience, Jan Kuyckx from Belgium signed with the team. After Tour de France stage winner, Olympic and World’s medallist Leon van Bon and former European Champion Matthé Pronk, Belgium top-rider Jan Kuyckx came over and brings in a lot of top-level experience. These experienced top-pro’s can guide and teach the talents from Asia and Africa towards the top level of cycling.
 
Jan Kuyckx is former time trial champion of Belgium at the juniors as well as the under 23’s. He raced for Davitamon Lotto competed in the Giro d’Italia, won stages in Spain and Austria and the Tour of Belgium. His career highlight may be the 2nd place in the Protour race Paris - Tours 2008.
