Today the Marco Polo Cycling Team will compete in Heusdenkoers, one of the top races in Belgium. This Pro Kermesse is also called "the World Championships of Kermesse racing" because of the strong participation and high status of this race in Europe. The race takes the riders on 23 laps to a total of 168 kilometer. One of the top favourites will be Belgium Stijn Devolder.

This edition will be a tribute to Wouter Weylandts, who died in the Giro d'Italia, a former winner of Heusenkoers.
Other winners from the past include famous riders like, de Vlaeminck, de Wilde, Ekimov, van Petegem, Steels and Farrar.
