Li Fuyu wins China Games TT!!!!

Li Fuyu of the Trek - Marco Polo Cycling Team has won the Time Trial of the China Games!!!  Li Fuyu won the road race of the last China Games in 2005. Two victories in the China Games make Fuyu a living legend in China.

His team member at Shandong Province Team and at the Trek - Marco Polo Cycling Team, Meiyin Wang, got an 8th place; former Trek-Marco Polo Team member Xue Ming Xing did get 4th. 
 
The China Games are held every four years. This is the biggest sports event in China, challenging the Olympic Games in national exposure, number of athletes, medals, etcetera. Provincial sports teams compete for the medals. This year the Games are held in Jinan, Shandong Province. The province that four of Trek – Marco Polo riders come from, including our Chinese star rider Li Fuyu. 
This monday October 26th the road race of the China Games will be held and Fuyu is one of the favorites, along with Xing Yan Dong and Liu Yilin of Trek - Marco Polo.
