Marco Polo Cycling Donckers Koffie had a great performance in the Heist op den Berg Pro Kermesse in Belgium. There were even 3 team riders in the main break-away of 15 with riders from teams like Rabobank, Vacansoleil, BMC and Quickstep. Eritrean Daniel Abraham, Ethiopian Alem Grmay Abebe and British Matt Green made it in this select group that gained a good 2 minutes gap on the chasing peloton.

Unfortunately Daniel Abraham slipped in one of the tricky cubbled corners and crashed out of the frontgroup. The remainders of this group were caught back later.

In the last 45 km it was Chris Macic who joined the frontgroup that made it to the finish. And Chris came in with a good 13th place in this high level race with top professionals of the world's best teams.
